Senior Technical Consultant - Nordics
Are you ready to guide energy projects, collaborating with organisations in the Nordics? We might have a job opening for you!
WHO WE ARE
Magnus Energy helps organisations navigate the energy transition. As one of Europe’s leading energy consultancies, we support system operators, energy suppliers, regulatory authorities and many others from strategy through to delivery. From setting a new direction and reshaping organisations, to moving projects forward, delivering change and optimising operations.
Our diverse international team includes technical experts, programme managers, management consultants and pragmatic problem-solvers. With 17+ nationalities across five European hubs, we cover every aspect of the energy transition - working towards a secure, sustainable and affordable energy system, and a bright future for all.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Technical Consultant in the Nordics, you will take a leading role in the delivery of complex technical programmes and projects in the energy sector. You will operate independently in client environments, driving execution while ensuring alignment with broader organisational and strategic objectives.
You will work in settings where digitalisation, cybersecurity and architectural coherence are critical. Your role combines hands‑on delivery with ownership, ensuring that initiatives move forward in a structured, pragmatic and results‑driven way.
You will make direct impact on project outcomes, while contributing to longer‑term strategic goals of our clients.
In this role, you will:
Lead and drive technical projects and programmes end-to-end (not only coordination)
Structure and manage delivery, including planning, risks, dependencies and reporting
Take ownership of stakeholder alignment across IT, OT, vendors and business
Drive or support cybersecurity initiatives in operational and IT environments
Contribute to and challenge enterprise and solution architecture decisions
Translate technical complexity into clear, actionable delivery plans and decisions

You have a strong consultancy mindset and you are able to structure complex problems, develop clear perspectives, and guide clients towards decisions. You combine analytical strength with interpersonal skills and are comfortable engaging stakeholders across both technical and business domains.
You have experience in IT programme management and understand OT.
You have:
A Master's degree with proven experience in technical project and programme management, with clear ownership of delivery (around 4-7 years),
