Senior Consultant Business and Technology - DK
Are you ready to guide energy projects, collaborating with organisations in Denmark and across Europe? We might have a job opening for you!
WHO WE ARE
Magnus Energy helps organisations navigate the energy transition. As one of Europe’s leading energy consultancies, we support system operators, energy suppliers, regulatory authorities and many others from strategy through to delivery. From setting a new direction and reshaping organisations, to moving projects forward, delivering change and optimising operations.
Our diverse international team includes technical experts, programme managers, management consultants and pragmatic problem-solvers. With 17+ nationalities across five European hubs, we cover every aspect of the energy transition - working towards a secure, sustainable and affordable energy system, and a bright future for all.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Business & Technology Consultant, you take an active role in shaping and delivering complex transformation initiatives for energy-related clients. A growing part of our work focuses on wind energy and renewable system integration across the Nordics and Europe. We support clients operating close to physical assets and critical infrastructure – including wind farm owners, developers, system operators and supply-chain actors.
In this context, you will work on challenges such as scaling onshore and offshore wind, integrating variable generation into power systems, strengthening IT/OT interfaces, and improving data-driven operations in safety- and reliability-critical environments. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on work close to operations and decision-making.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
Translate strategic ambitions into pragmatic, executable roadmaps and implementation plans, considering organisational, process, data and technology dimensions.
Take ownership of project workstreams, independently shaping the approach and key deliverables, while ensuring quality, progress and alignment across business, IT and operational stakeholders.
Facilitate working sessions and workshops that help teams make decisions and move forward.
Coach and support consultants, contributing to a culture of craftsmanship and professional growth.
Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership and capability building, strengthening Magnus Energy’s practice.
Operate as a trusted sparring partner for clients, combining content expertise with delivery experience.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This position is well suited for professionals with experience from wind, renewables, utilities or adjacent infrastructure sectors who want to apply their industry understanding in a consulting environment with strong execution focus.
3–5 years of relevant experience in consulting or complex transformation programs.
A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Technology, Energy or a related discipline) with excellent grades, is preferable.
Experience with business- and/or technology-driven change, preferably in energy, utilities or infrastructure contexts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguity into clear direction.
Confidence in client interaction, including facilitating discussions and aligning multiple stakeholders.
A mature, proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility.
