WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Head of People & Culture you will shape and lead the people strategy of a fast-growing consulting organisation operating at the heart of the energy transition. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will lead the HR, People and Culture (HRPC) agenda that powers Magnus Energy’s growth ambition. Shaping a future-ready organisation with a compelling EVP, strong leadership and talent pipelines, and an inclusive, high-performance culture rooted in purpose and sustainable employability
You will oversee the full HRPC lifecycle, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution, and play a pivotal role in further developing our organisation.
On a day to day basis you will:
Define and lead the overall HRPC strategy, partnering closely with our leadership team to enable Magnus Energy’s ambitions, with strong focus on strategic workforce planning.
Further strengthen and evolve Magnus Energy’s culture and values, enhancing an engaging, inclusive employee experience that supports performance, DE&I, and sustainable employability.
Enable long-term career growth through meaningful development, mentorship, and leadership programmes, strengthening internal mobility and leadership pipelines.
Lead the design and governance of compliant HR frameworks and policies that bring Magnus Energy’s EVP to life across our headquarters in Naarden (the Netherlands) and our hubs in Brussels, Copenhagen, Cologne, and Vienna.
Proactively initiate and lead the optimization and/or redesign of HR processes and our end-to-end employee journey, driving automation, digitization and scalable people practices.
Establish a data-driven people function, using advanced HR insights to inform strategic decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve people outcomes.
Develop and coach the HR and Recruitment team while establishing high standards and building a best-in-class HR function.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A Senior HR leader (8+ years’ experience) with a Master’s degree in HRM or Business Management, and a minimum of 5 years in people-management roles within complex, international environments. Experience within a consulting organization is an advantage.
Strategic HR advisor and leader, combining business insights with data literacy to influence decisions and support organisational performance.
Trusted stakeholder partner and relationship builder, experienced in working with Works Councils, leadership teams, and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Clear communicator and problem solver, operating with integrity, sound ethical judgement, and confidence in handling sensitive people matters
Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch (minimum C1)
Strong presence and resilience; thrives in fast-paced environments
Results-driven project leader, with strong project management capabilities.
Experience in post-merger change management (PMI, cultural integration), is a plus.
This position is available on a 32–40 hour per week basis.
