As a Financial Controller at Magnus Energy, you will play an important role in our fast-growing, private equity-backed company. This is a new position, which allows you to put your mark on the further professionalisation and optimisation of our Finance processes. You will amongst others prepare the monthly financial close, including revenue and cost accruals and analysis and report key operational and financial figures.

Your responsibilities extend to designing and maintaining ERP systems, ensuring accurate VAT and regulatory reporting, and preparing annual reviews with external accountants. You will also manage invoicing, expense claims and accounts receivable/payable, as well as handle daily bank transactions and payments.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll directly contribute to our company’s growth and financial health, working within a small team that values your insights and development.

Who we are looking for:

• Medior finance professional with appr. 5 years of work-experience in finance administration/financial control
• HBO Business Administration level
• Solid financial knowledge
• Accurate, reliable, flexible and hands-on attitude
• Quick adaption to new ERP systems and strong excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus
• Interest in process improvement and automation
• Professional fluency in English & Dutch
